Our High View team completed the final mile of The Plymouth Primary school's Challenge on the Plymouth Hoe yesterday.
All of the children and adults ran brilliantly and it was wonderful to be surrounded by so many smiles and a huge amount of support.

A huge well done to all of the children who took part. You represented High View brilliantly and you should be really proud of your achievement.
Lastly, we would like to thank those of you that came to support our runners. The cheers and 'power boosts' really helped!
Who's ready for next year? :)

To celebrate Month of the Military Child, Miss Elliott had the pleasure of taking our year 5/6 military children to a creative workshop at the Plymouth Arts University. This was organised and run by Never Such Innocence, a charity who supports military children using creative arts.

The children took part in a poetry workshop lead by war poet Clive Sanders. They all produced some amazing poetry which highlighted the impact of change on military children.

Following this, they bravely read their poems in front of MP Luke Pollard and the other schools. We are very proud of them for representing High View and the military children of Plymouth.

📚 Last week, our school was transformed into a literary wonderland for World Book Day! ✨ The children absolutely came alive, stepping into the pages of their favourite stories and bringing characters to life in the most creative ways. 🎭

The costumes were absolutely spectacular—from classic characters to imaginative interpretations, every single child showed up with such enthusiasm and effort. 📖 It was pure magic watching them embody their literary heroes and heroines! 🌟
