It is a sad day as we say a fond farewell to members of staff who are leaving us for new adventures at the end of this term! Thank you for your support, hard work, care and kindness for the children at Widey Court! They have been so very lucky! We will miss you and wish you all the best! 🌟💛💚

Governors Awards 2026 💚🌟
Your children voted for their peers following the school values and although we had to scale down the assembly audience due to the heat, we were so very proud of the child and staff who were nominated! Thank you to our Governors who read each and every nomination for their year groups and selected the winners! It was lovely to celebrate with the children, family members and the Governors. 💚🌟
We will make sure every child and member of staff who was nominated receives their nominations back over the next few days so that each and every message is delivered! 💚🌟

A huge thank you to Mrs Bridges and the children in Year 5 and 6 who have been part of the National Children’s Book Awards this year! The children have loved reading brand new books over the course of the year. They have written their reviews (good and bad!) which are returned to the authors for feedback and this supports the chosen winners of the awards! The children were rewarded with a ‘Literature and Lolly’ session with Mr Nicholls and a ‘celebration spritz’ in the heat! 🌞💦📚🌟
