✨ My Daily Doodles – July ✨

Yes…I’m a little late sharing these! 😂 July came and went in a colourful blur, but I did manage to keep up with my daily doodles…well, mostly...there was a time where I had 3 to complete but that's ok.

Here’s a little collection of my July doodles — tiny moments of creativity squeezed into busy days.

Some took just a few minutes, some grew into something a little more, and some were simply about putting pen to paper and seeing what happened. Can you spot the spelling mistake?? My son was horrified that I hadn't fixed it, but I reminded him that perfection isn't everything.

I love how a daily doodle reminds me that creativity doesn’t have to be complicated, time-consuming or “perfect”. Sometimes, you just need a pen, a scrap of paper and 5 minutes to yourself 🤩

Today was challenging. The holidays aren't always easy, no matter what social media tries to tell you. For those that saw me at Plympton Library this morning, you will have seen my daughter struggling and not making very good choices. What should have been a lovely visit to the library, really wasn't.

So when I opened up my notebook this evening to find this note in it, my heart melted. My son didn't write it, my daughter did ♥️

I'm doing a good job. We all are 🥰

Starting on Saturday 3rd October at Stitch & Splodge, we'll be exploring creativity, trying new artistic techniques, building confidence, and working towards an Arts Award in a fun, supportive environment. I can't wait to get started!
