🎉 Congratulations to UTC Plymouth Students on Their Outstanding Post-16 Results! 🎉

Everyone at Reach South Academy Trust would like to congratulate the students, staff and families of UTC Plymouth on an excellent set of post-16 results this year.

We are particularly proud that 100% of T Level students have secured their preferred destinations, progressing to university, apprenticeships, employment and specialist training opportunities.

Some fantastic individual achievements include:
⭐ Scarlet, who will study Motorsport Technology at Oxford Brookes University
⭐ Charlie, who will study Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at the University of Plymouth
⭐ Ethan, who is joining the Royal Navy
⭐ Patryk, who will study Aerospace Engineering at the University of South Wales

Students also achieved strong outcomes in English and Maths, alongside excellent results from those studying English as an Additional Language.

These achievements reflect the hard work, determination and ambition of our young people, supported every step of the way by dedicated staff, families and industry partners.

As industries across the UK continue to seek highly skilled professionals in engineering, manufacturing, construction and digital technologies, UTC Plymouth students are leaving with the knowledge, experience and confidence to make a real impact in their chosen careers.

As another fantastic school year comes to an end, we'd like to say a huge thank you to all our pupils, staff, families and communities for their hard work, dedication and support throughout the year.

We are incredibly proud of everything our children and young people have achieved, both in and out of the classroom.

We couldn't be prouder of the incredible pupils at Stuart Road Primary Academy, whose passion, compassion and leadership have helped raise both funds and awareness for Mind Plymouth 💙

Over recent weeks, the school's dedicated Wellbeing Warriors have led a series of fundraising and wellbeing activities, encouraging their peers to talk openly about mental health and support an important local charity.

What makes this achievement particularly special is that it was entirely pupil-driven. The Wellbeing Warriors identified a cause they cared about, planned events centred around exercise, positivity, togetherness and giving back, and inspired children across the whole school, from our youngest nursery pupils upwards, to get involved.

The campaign culminated on 13 July, when pupils proudly presented the funds they had raised to representatives from Mind Plymouth, helping to support the charity's vital work across our local community.

Michelle Riley, Interim Headteacher at Stuart Road Academy, said:
"Our Wellbeing Warriors have been absolutely fantastic throughout this project. They identified a cause that was important to them, organised a range of activities and worked incredibly hard to raise awareness of mental health across the school. We wanted this to be more than a one-off event and instead create lasting conversations around wellbeing, and our pupils have achieved exactly that.

"We are incredibly proud of the compassion and enthusiasm they have shown and delighted to be able to support the important work of Mind Plymouth."

At Reach South Academy Trust, we are committed to developing confident, compassionate young people who make a positive difference in their communities. Stuart Road Academy's Wellbeing Warriors have embodied these values brilliantly, showing that even the smallest actions can have a lasting impact.

👏 Well done to every pupil, member of staff and family who supported this fantastic initiative. You should all be incredibly proud.

🎓✨ Year 11 GCSE Results Day Information...

We’re getting ready for one of the most important days in the school calendar, GCSE Results Day. This is a milestone our Year 11 students have worked incredibly hard for and we can’t wait to celebrate their achievements with them. 🌟💙

📅 Thursday 20th August
⏰ 9am – 12pm
📍 The Moxy Hotel (just across the road from school)

Students will collect their results in person, with staff on hand throughout the morning to offer support, guidance and encouragement. It’s a chance for them to reflect on their journey, celebrate their progress and discuss their next steps 🚀📄

Students will also be able to access their results digitally through the new DfE Education Record App, but this does not replace attending in person.
