PTSA's Primary School Direct is a one year, full time, school-based route into teaching. With this training route you’ll be based in a Plymouth primary school and will also be taught by our university partner, Plymouth Marjon University.

Outline: This CPD addresses the specific challenge around pupils using frequent, indiscriminate racist language that we know from schools reporting racist incidents, has increased significantly this year.

This up to date training, developed in collaboration with teachers, will provide understanding of the power of language in modern culture, and practical advice on how to challenge racism in schools through a positive, transformative approach.
