POMPHLETT CREEK seen in what could be the late 1970s or the early 1980s on one of my aerial photography jobs. Looks like it was a rather dull & misty day but the photograph still shows things as they were and you can see there’s so much change - eg, no Morrisons, no Marina, & a working scrapyard, not to mention railway wagons in Plymstock Station (cement).

I took this photograph in the very early 1980s while hanging legs out from a Royal Marines gazelle helicopter. I have published it many many times because for me it’s such a cracking image and so much change has happened in this photograph since it was taken all those years ago.
