Families & friends of Pitlochry High School We Need YOUR Help! 🙌🙌🙌

Pitlochry Highland Games are fast approaching.

❤️ We need donations of bottles (alcohol, water, shampoo, etc) - please hand any donations into the school office before 15:30 on Thursday 🍾🧴🙏🏻

🧡 We need the help of all you awesome bakers and cake makers out there - time to get your pinny on! 🧑‍🍳
Items need to be handed into the school office during normal hours on Friday 11th September.
Non-perishables only. Items will need to include a note of ingredients and if possible, please package individually🧁🍰🥮

Thank you for reading this and for any support you can offer for the benefit of all our school 🥰

Any little prizes for the children’s lucky dip will also be gratefully received.

🌞📚🔖 Summer Reading Challenge 2026 - Read to the Beat

This year’s theme, Read to the Beat!, celebrates the joy of music and the power it has to move, inspire, and connect us – all through the magic of reading.

The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, “Read to the Beat!”, is a free programme for children aged 4–11. It invites children to read six books during the summer holidays, with a fun theme around music, sound, and stories.

Families can sign up at any Culture Perth and Kinross library. Children will receive a challenge pack, collect stickers as they go, and earn a certificate and medal when they finish.

You can make a huge difference this year by encouraging your pupils to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge over the holidays. It's the UK's biggest reading for pleasure programme for primary school children in libraries - in 2025 we reached over half a million children.

Moulin Hall Users Group are celebrating the hall’s 70th anniversary this August - and our Pitlochry High School children and young people are supporting with a range of creative pieces of art 🎨

We’re lucky to have such a creative bunch of children within our community - and of course Mr Maitland, our art teacher… inspiring pupils from P4-S4 ❤️

Join us on TODAY for the Pitlochry High School 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲́ from 10:00 to 12:00 in the Assembly Hall 🫖☕️🍰

Come along to pick up uniform at our pre-loved stand for next term. Items are FREE to take - donations are welcome, however not essential ♻️👕💚

Local crafters will also be there selling their beautiful cards, crafts, and maybe some jewellery 🛍️ Our children and young people will showcase their talents throughout the cafe 🎶🎸🎷

Our 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗳𝗲́ is open to EVERYONE 🙌 Donations are welcome at the door.
