Pinner Parish Preschool celebrates 60 years of outstanding early years education.
Pinner Parish Preschool is celebrating a remarkable milestone this year as it marks its 60th anniversary, while also recognising an extraordinary 30 years of service from Deputy Manager, Bev Parry.
The much-loved preschool, which has been at the heart of the Pinner community since 1966, celebrated the occasion with children, families and staff, complete with a birthday cake and festivities to honour six decades of nurturing generations of local children.
Adding to the celebrations is the recognition of Deputy Manager Bev Parry, who has worked at the preschool for 30 years. During her three decades of service, she has supported hundreds of children and families, becoming a familiar and trusted face within the local community.
Bev Parry, Deputy Manager said:
“I feel incredibly privileged to have spent the last 30 years at Pinner Parish Preschool. Watching generations of children grow in confidence, discover their personalities and begin their love of learning has been the greatest reward. It’s been wonderful to see former children return years later with families of their own, and I’m so proud to have been part of such a caring, dedicated team. Reaching our 60th anniversary and celebrating our Outstanding Ofsted judgement together makes it especially memorable.”
As a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), Pinner Parish Preschool is run by a volunteer committee, with every pound of income reinvested directly into providing high-quality early years education and experiences for children.
Melinda Chukwuma, Chair of the Preschool Committee said:
“Celebrating 60 years is a testament to the generations of families, staff and volunteers who have helped make Pinner Parish Preschool such a special place. As a charity, everything we do is focused on giving children the very best start in life, and every decision we make is for their benefit.
I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together. None of it would have been possible without the dedication of our staff team, committee members and supportive families.
This year is also the perfect opportunity to recognise Bev’s incredible 30 years of service. She is the heart of our preschool - her kindness, experience and unwavering commitment have touched countless children’s lives. We simply wouldn’t be the preschool we are today without her.”
