Pinner Parish Pre-School Pinner Parish Pre-School is a warm and friendly pre-school in the heart of Pinner, run by a committee of parents and professional staff.

Formed in the early 1960's by a group of parents to serve the children of Pinner. Over the years our pre-school has progessed but is still, over 50 years on, managed by a volunteer parent committee aongside staff representatives. As a registered charity and member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance we aim to offer quality childcare with the only objectives being that of the education and happines

s of our children and not-for-profit. We are registered to take children from 2 years 4 months to 4 years 11 months of age and operate from the large church hall at St. John the Baptist Church in the heart of Pinner. On Monday we have a smaller room for 12 and focus is on the older children. We have access to the garden which homes a lovely wooden wendy house for children to play in. Our team of qualified staff create a happy and secure environment where children are encouraged in all areas of social, emotional and physical development. Sessions are planned and regular activites include play with sand, water, clay, dough, paint, books, music, cooking, creative and imaginative actvities and use of large excercise equipment. To encourage the feeling of belonging and ownership of the pre-school the children wear a red Pinner Parish Pre-school t-shirt or sweatshirt. Each child has their own key worker, though all staff are happy to talk about your child's needs. Our ratio of adult to children is 1 adult to 5 children and all staff are qualified and work in accordance with Ofsted's requirements along with the Pre-school Learning Alliance recommendations. Snack - children are provided with a mid-morning drink of milk or water accompanied by selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese etc. As a registered charity we are self suppporting and it is essential that we fund raise throughout the year and do do this the Committee organise regular events, coffee mornings and fun days.
