Early Years Assistant / Childcare Practitioner

Part-time / Flexible hours
Junior & Tiny Tots is a warm, home-from-home childcare setting caring for babies and young children in small groups.
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic new team member who has a genuine passion for working with children, particularly babies and under 2s.
Our setting focuses on:
* building strong relationships with children and families
* smaller group care
* outdoor learning and nature walks
* communication and teamwork
* creating a calm, safe and nurturing environment
The role includes:
* supporting children’s learning and development
* caring for babies and young children
* helping with activities, meals and routines
* maintaining high safeguarding and hygiene standards
* working closely with the team and parents
We are looking for someone who is:
* warm, patient and dependable
* confident working with babies and toddlers
* willing to undertake training and develop professionally
* organised and proactive
* a good communicator and team player
Preferred:
* childcare experience
* DBS check
* paediatric first aid (or willingness to complete)
* Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification desirable but not essential for the right person
