Wild Brambles is a forest school set within the brambles of a private woodland in Pinner.

Spring signs were the focus of today’s session 🌿 We went on a hunt for catkins, blossom and sticky leaf buds, noticing how nature is starting to wake up after winter.

We also learned about the Hindu festival of Holi, celebrated last week, which welcomes spring with colour, joy, a beautiful celebration of diversity.

To finish, we did a little litter pick — a small reminder that we have each to make things better.

Feeling grateful for this lovely day 🌞 Thinking of our feathered friends, especially the starlings making their way here from Northern Europe and the Baltic for a warmer winter 🐦❤️ We made bird feeders to welcome them and had a fun time making our own little bird🌿💕 Can't wait to spot more starlings and enjoy their beautiful songs and starry bellies!
