On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Kathak students of Srishti- Nina Rajarani Dance School came together to celebrate the timeless guru–shishya paramparā with our wonderful Kathak teacher, Trishna Kumari ✨🙏🏽

It is truly heartening that, even thousands of miles away from home in London, we are able to preserve, practise, and celebrate the richness of Indian culture and traditions together. A heartfelt appreciation to all our students for participating so enthusiastically and for immersing themselves in the spirit and significance of Guru Purnima. Your curiosity, dedication, and reverence keep these timeless traditions alive for generations to come.

On this auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, Srishti - Nina Rajarani Dance School honours every Guru whose guidance shapes not only artists, but compassionate human beings.

We invoke Lord Nataraja, the Cosmic Dancer, whose divine dance reminds us that creation, preservation and transformation are all part of life’s rhythm. We offer our prayers to Vighnaharta Shri Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, seeking wisdom and auspicious beginnings for every learner. And with folded hands, we pray for peace, harmony and the well-being of all.

Wishing everyone a blessed Guru Purnima. May we always remain worthy students, walking the path of learning with humility, devotion and gratitude.

It was a joy for the Srishti - Nina Rajarani Dance School students to perform at the Art Park Food & Creative Festival in Harrow Town Centre and share the richness of Indian classical dance with the community.

From captivating performances to interactive workshops, we loved welcoming people of all ages to experience the rhythm, storytelling and tradition of Bharatanatyam.

What a fantastic weekend for our Srishti Dance School students as they appeared for their ISTD Bharatanatyam examinations. istddance 🌸

Following an intensive week with Bharatanatyam Guru Nina Rajarani MBE, our students worked tirelessly to refine their precision in technique, deepen their abhinaya, strengthen their tāla and recitation, and build a greater understanding of the art form. Special vocal sessions with Yadavan Yadavan helped them learn the compositions they dance to and experience rhythm in a whole new way.

We are so proud of every student’s hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Wishing them all the very best ❤️
