⭐️Primary 7 Activity Week ⭐️

Today we were up early for our trip to Landmark!

Our first stop was the big water slides! We had a great time giving every slide a try (and even managed to convince our teachers to give them a go!).

We then went to explore the butterfly house and the bamboozeleum before stopping for our lunch.

Then we got to go off in groups for some free choice where we gave Networx and Ropeworx a go!

After that it was time to head back on the bus home, but not before a stop off at McDonalds!!

What a fantastic day!

(We expect to be back at school for approx 7pm)

⭐️Primary 7 Activity Week ⭐️

Day two of our activity was spent at Lochter!

We got to try four different activities - go karting, rifle target shooting, water rollers and the climbing wall!

Everyone had lots of fun trying new things, with go karting being the class favourite! 🏁

⭐️ Primary 7 Activity Week! ⭐️

Our first day of activity week was spent watching “Sheep Detectives” at Arc cinema 🎬🍿

Then it was back to school for a Football session or pottery painting!

What a great start to the week 😊

🌈🎉 A colourful afternoon at Meethill!🎉🌈

Thankfully the rain stayed away, allowing us to enjoy our much-anticipated Colour Obstacle Run! The children had an absolute blast tackling the course, making their way through obstacle after obstacle and, of course, being showered in plenty of colour along the way! 🌈🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

There were lots of smiles, laughter and teamwork on display, and by the end of the afternoon it was safe to say that everyone was looking a little more colourful than when they started! 🎨✨

A huge thankyou to all of the staff for throwing themselves into the fun and making the event such a success.

💜P3 Magnified Learning 💜

P3 have been very busy this week! We wanted to share something fun we’ve been working on for the last few days!

As part of our topic on Minibeasts, we used our creativity to design and make a Minibeast Triorama. We began by drawing our designs on paper, thinking about our chosen Minibeast and where it would live. 🐜

Today we had the fun task of making our trioramas! We first used air dry clay to make our minibeast, then we used a variety of art and craft supplies to build their habitats! 🐞

We had lots of fun and were very happy with our results! 💜

♣️ALICE IN WONDERLAND♣️

Today our Primary 7s performed their end of year show “Alice in Wonderland” and we couldn’t be prouder of them all!

They’ve worked so hard and spent lots of time rehearsing, painting backdrops and making costumes and props.

They took us on a trip through Wonderland, and we hope our audiences enjoyed it as much as P7 enjoyed performing it! ⭐️

⭐️Mystery Mini Fidget Toys⭐️

Primary 7 will be selling mystery bags for £2.50 from tomorrow!

Each pack will contain at least 4 mini fidgets.

If possible please bring correct change!

Tomorrow will be primary 7s last day of selling toast. Toast cost 20p a slice. All money raised with go to the primary 7s fundraiser.

💜 P3 Magnified Learning 💜

Today was a busy day in P3! This morning we were working on Reading and Comprehension. We all have a comprehension grid to complete to show our understanding of the books we’ve been reading. Everyone worked really hard to complete their grids this morning 📚 ✏️

This afternoon was very exciting as we went up to Meethill Woods for some outdoor learning. Our task was to work with a partner to build a “Bug Hotel” as part of our topic on Minibeasts. Every group was successful and built some very cosy looking hotels! 🦟 🐞 🐜
