At Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs Trust, our children in Year Six explored lots of different circuit setups, testing which ones worked and which ones didn’t. They experimented with bulbs, wires, batteries and switches, using their findings to explain what every complete circuit needs in order to function.
The children showed brilliant curiosity and teamwork throughout, well done, Mountain Hawks!

From Monday 21st September to Friday 9th October, we are delighted to offer swimming lessons for children in Years 4, 5 and 6 through the introduction of a fully equipped pop‑up heated swimming pool on our KS2 playground. The temporary pool includes changing facilities and will be staffed by a qualified Swim Ed Instructor, ensuring high‑quality teaching and a safe, enjoyable experience for all pupils.
The children have been very curious and excited about the appearance and construction of the pop‑up pool, and it has already created a real buzz across the school.

Mrs Marks and Ms Pearson were excited to attend the first session of their Leadership for Belonging course at the Marriott Hotel in Peterborough on Thursday 11th September. This Local Authority initiative is a year‑long project inspired by the brilliant work at Carr Manor in Leeds, focusing on raising the profile of inclusion and strengthening a sense of belonging in schools.
Both Ms Pearson and Mrs Marks had the privilege of visiting Carr Manor last academic year, where they saw firsthand the powerful practices used to build positive relationships and embed belonging into everyday school life.
Throughout this year, they will be leading on developing a strong sense of belonging at Manor Drive Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs Trust. Staff will also take part in ongoing training to deepen their understanding of building and maintaining positive relationships with children and families, as well as exploring Social Capital Theory.
We’re excited for the journey ahead and the positive impact this work will have across our school community.

Today, staff at MDPA, part of the Four Cs Trust, came together for our first INSET day of the academic year, focusing on Instructional Coaching.

Instructional Coaching is a key part of our ongoing professional development programme, providing regular, supportive coaching within school. By focusing on small, high-leverage steps, staff can develop and refine their practice in a meaningful and sustainable way.

Through coaching conversations, deliberate practice and reflection, we continue to strengthen teaching and learning so that every pupil benefits from the highest quality education.

Our talented pupils have been showcasing their artistic skills by creating fantastic Zentangle ice cream cones! Using a variety of intricate patterns and designs, the children transformed simple ice cream cone templates into colourful works of art.

This creative project not only encouraged self-expression but also helped develop concentration, patience, and attention to detail. Every piece was unique, reflecting the imagination and individuality of each young artist.

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, effort, and enthusiasm shown by all of our pupils. Well done to everyone for producing such bright and eye-catching artwork! 🌟

As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, I would like to thank all of our families, staff, governors, and community members for their continued support of Manor Drive Primary Academy.

This year has been filled with learning, achievement, growth, and memorable experiences for our children. These successes are only possible because of the dedication of our staff, the partnership of our families, and the support of our wider community. Together, we have created a nurturing and ambitious environment where every child can thrive.

A special thank you goes to our pupils, who continue to inspire us with their enthusiasm, resilience, kindness, and determination. We are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved this year.
As a proud member of The Four Cs Trust, it has been wonderful to see our primary and secondary academies come together to create a special end-of-year video celebrating our shared values, achievements, and sense of community. We invite you to take a few moments to enjoy this lovely video and the contributions from across the Trust.

As the Summer break begins, we wish every member of our school community a happy, restful, and enjoyable holiday. Take time to relax, make special memories with family and friends, and enjoy the Summer.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate two outstanding Manor Drive Primary Academy pupils who were recognised at the very first Four Cs Trust Star Awards held at the Four Cs Trust Headquarters on Wednesday 8th July.

Headteachers from primary and secondary schools across the Trust came together to honour students who exemplify the Trust’s core values of Confidence, Curiosity, Courage and Constancy. Each school nominated just two pupils, and we were delighted to recognise one of our students for Curiosity and another for Confidence.

Both pupils are fantastic role models who consistently demonstrate our school values through their achievements, attitude and conduct. We could not be prouder of them! 👏

As part of the celebration, they received special badges, certificates and a bag of treats to mark this wonderful achievement.
A huge thank you to their parents for joining us on this prestigious occasion and helping us celebrate their success.

Congratulations to both award winners on this well-deserved recognition! ⭐🎉
