We're a Music Mark School!!

We are incredibly proud to have received Music Mark recognition once again, celebrating our school’s commitment to providing high-quality music education and opportunities for all our children.

Music is such an important part of life at Discovery, and this recognition reflects the wonderful singing, playing, creating, performing and music-making that takes place across our school.

Most importantly, it celebrates our children, their enthusiasm, creativity and the fantastic musical experiences they embrace throughout their time with us.

We’re so proud to have our commitment to music recognised!

🌟 Four Cs Trust Star Award 🌟

We are incredibly proud of two of our pupils who recently visited the The Four Cs Academy Trust HQ to receive a prestigious Four Cs Trust Star Award.

Both pupils were recognised for consistently demonstrating the Trust values of Curiosity and Confidence, showcasing these qualities in everything they do. Their enthusiasm for learning, willingness to embrace new challenges, and positive attitude make them outstanding role models for our school community.

Congratulations to both pupils on this fantastic achievement. We are delighted to see their hard work and dedication recognised by the Trust! ⭐👏

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We are delighted to announce that Mrs Barnes will be joining us on a full-time basis from September.

This means children will continue to enjoy wonderful music lessons as well as experience exciting new opportunities, including working with visiting artists on different projects, performing at The Cresset as well as other dance showcases, and the opportunity to book music lessons with specialist teachers.

From September, Mrs Barnes will also be expanding our performing arts offer by teaching additional performing arts lessons and running a brand-new Tunes and Tales group for pre-school children and their families.

We are very excited about this new adventure as it will be a fantastic opportunity for our pre-school community to come together, learn, and have fun.

📢 More information will be shared in September. In the meantime, make sure to like and follow our page to be the first to hear about exciting updates, events, and opportunities! 🎶✨

🌿🎨 A Wonderful Response to Our Nature Competition! 🎨🌿

We have been absolutely delighted to receive over 70 entries for our Nature Competition, kindly organised by our local councillors, Alex Rafiq for Paston & Walton & Ivelina Banyalieva for Paston & Walton.

The creativity, imagination and talent shown in the artwork has been incredible. Here is just a small selection of the fantastic entries we have received. Unfortunately, with so many wonderful submissions, we are unable to showcase them all here.

All entries will now be collected by Alex Rafiq for Paston & Walton Ivelina Banyalieva for Paston & Walton, who have the very difficult task of choosing a winner from so many amazing pieces of artwork!

A huge well done and thank you to everyone who entered, we are so proud of the effort and enthusiasm shown by all our budding artists. 🌿🖌️💚
