Hampton College is an ‘all through’ school catering for children and students from 4 – 19 years old. The primary phase was established in 2012 and currently offers primary school education for children in reception to year 3. The school will grow one year group at a time until 2018 when our first year 6 classes will open.

Our Year 6 children who didn't attend the Residential, have also had a very busy week! Their activities included, creating their own artwork inspired by the work of Peter Thorpe, designing a comic strip for Year 5 students, detailing their Year 6 journey, looking 'through the keyhole' to imagine and recreate their ideal day, planning a mission to space and finally, completing an escape room to help locate our missing teachers at Laches Wood.

Neptune class conducted an air resistance investigation, testing how canopy surface area affects the descent of a parachute. Pupils carried out a fair test, recorded their timed observations accurately, and used their results to deepen their understanding of forces in action!
