We are so excited that offers went out to new starters this week and we are looking forward to welcoming our new learners and new and existing families to The Duke of Bedford Primary School.

The first step is to accept your offer of a school place, then, over the coming weeks the school will be in touch with families to share further information and outline opportunities for children and parents to visit school, attend stay and plays, information evenings and transition events. Miss Cunningham will also be contacting pre school settings to go and visit children at their current settings too.

For more opportunities to meet staff, parents and be part of the school community, why not come and visit us at Open Farm weekend at Park Farm on 6th and 7th June or come along to our School Summer Fair on 10th July.

We were thrilled to be asked to take part in the Easter Art competition organised by New Hope Church. We would like to express our thanks to the Church for providing the opportunity, judging the entries and for the generous prizes.

Here's the lucky winner of our Easter hamper in yesterday's raffle!! Well done to all of our winners and thank you for all of the very kind donations 🐰🐣. We managed to give out over 90 prizes and raise over £400!!

A huge thank you to all of our families who visited our scholastic book fair....you raised £160 for the school to spend on books for our class libraries.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Comic relief charity on Friday, we raised an amazing £119.

**Easter raffle**
It's not too late to enter. £1 a go - just put your money in a named envelope and bring into school by Wednesday. As well as an Easter hamper, we now have two gorgeous Peter Rabbits to re-home, plus lots and lots of Easter eggs!!

Easter is just around the corner which means it is nearly time for our Easter Extravaganza Raffle. If you have eggs to donate - please drop them at the office or to Mrs Hales on the gate. If you would like tickets please pop your money in an envelope and send it in. Many thanks for your continued support.
