Today we attended the preparing for adulthood SEND Festival in St. Ives Cambridgeshire to showcase what we offer at TCHC. There was a range of stalls displaying plenty of educational information supporting young people & families.

A huge thank you to Stuart Wills from Bourne Bike Donations and Recycle - UK for kindly donating this bicycle to our Centre for one of our learners. This is a massive help in aiding transport to & from college and the learner was very grateful! Check out Stuart's page who has helped loads of people by fixing bikes and recycling them back out to the community!

COURSE UPGRADE
Career's in property maintenance is becoming more and more popular as you are not limiting yourself to just one trade which opens up more opportunities for jobs and increases clientele as you can offer a wide range of services plus you can also save on money when it comes to needed repairs in and around your home.

We are glad to announce that as part of our course offer next year we will be introducing property maintenance skills which will cover a lot of the general basics you need to know in relation to property maintenance.

A huge thank you to Active8 Managed Technologies Wheels Motorcycles & Wolseley Peterborough for kindly donating pallets and spare timbers to our Centre, allowing our learners to be creative and make plenty of furniture and equipment! Here are a few more projects they have worked on during this week.

Our learners are now going to enjoy their last half term of the academic year before returning to get started on further projects!

Last week, our learners were continuing to reuse materials such as wooden pallets to create furniture for our outdoor space & this time they all worked together and contributed to making this ideal shelter!
