💦 PGL DAY 3 – WHAT A WAY TO FINISH! 🚣‍♀️

Our final day at PGL was just as adventurous as the first two!

It started with a sensory trail, navigating our way around while blindfolded. This challenge really put our listening, communication and teamwork skills to the test as we had to rely on our friends to guide us! 🙈🤝

Then it was time to get wet! 💦 We finished our residential with canoeing and jumping into the water, which was definitely a highlight for many of us! 🚣‍♂️🌊

Three days of adventure, laughter, teamwork, bravery and new experiences have created so many memories for Year 6.

But there was one problem…

WE REALLY DIDN’T WANT TO LEAVE! 🥹❤️

What an incredible residential and what an amazing group of children. We couldn’t be prouder of them! ⭐🌲

🧗 PGL DAY 2 – BRAVERY AT NEW HEIGHTS! 💪

After an early breakfast to fuel us for a busy day, Year 6 were ready for another day of adventure!

Day 2 tested our courage with some seriously high activities, including the climbing wall, abseiling and trapeze, where the children pushed themselves to step outside their comfort zones and reach new heights! 🪢🧗

We also explored the tunnels, which gave us a brilliant little taste of what moving through trenches might have been like. With our upcoming World War Two learning, it was a great opportunity to experience something that will help bring our history learning to life. 🪖

Most importantly, we saw children encouraging their friends, overcoming nerves and refusing to give up.

Bravery, resilience and teamwork were definitely been the themes of Day 2! ⭐

🌲 PGL DAY 1 – THE ADVENTURE BEGINS! 🔥

Year 6 had the most amazing residential trip to kick off the year! After settling into their rooms, they jumped straight into the action with a Survivor challenge. They learned how to light fires, build dens and even whittle sticks – all while working together and putting their problem-solving skills to the test! 🪵🔥

Next up was Jacob’s Ladder, where teamwork, communication and a lot of bravery were needed to help them reach new heights! 💪🧗

And just when they thought the day couldn't get any better… it was time for the silent disco! 🎧🕺💃

There was so much laughter, encouragement and plenty of new challenges conquered on the first day.
