A commission which was completed before christmas. The customer asked for this beautiful quote, along with a scottish thistle or two, and allowed me to use my creativity to create the layout of the piece. I really love how the colours look together!

Sweet little autumnal bunny from yesterday.
Last night Alfred woke himself at 10 as he coughed and some milk went down the wrong way during a feed, that was him up then until 2am 😭 thankfully the other haf took that shift until I came down at 2 to resettle him. He's a monster with sleep sometimes!
His sleeping habits, along with another house move mean that I dont get as much time with Rose and Bea's as I'd like, but I'm determined to start it back up properly next year. For now I'm just doodling whatever I fancy 😊

Evening!
I hope all you lovely mummies out there had a lovely mothers day. We had a busy one, I recieved some lovely flowers and chocolates, and a big book about bee's (of course!) 😄
For anyone who found mothers day challenging, angel mummies like me, or anyone missing their own mum, I hope it wasn't too difficult a day 💖
This is something I made for my mum. Unfortunately my rubbish phone camera really doesn't do justice to all the little details, but I hope you can see that they are poppies.

As mentioned in my earlier post, my welly portraits are now available to order 😊
I started offering these this time last for in the run up to mothers day and they were a hit!
These are not prints. Each portrait is hand painted using Windsor and Newton watercolours, and highly pigmented Ecoline watercolour inks for a vibrant finish on cold pressed 300gsm watercolour paper.
They make a wonderful gift!
I paint all the wellies to your specifications, any colour patterns, pets, quotes etc, just ask and I will do my best to accommodate.
I can fit to to 4 family members onto an a5 painting, these are £15.
And for larger families, an a4 painting is £20.

Hello everyone!
It's been a long time since I have posted. I've been busy with this cheeky chap!
Motherhood after loss is a hard one, probably more than we all realise until it's us, but that doesn't stop this little boy brightening our lives with his beautiful face every day! Florence absolutely dotes upon her little brother, and Beatrice will be guiding him into a wonderful little person from afar 🌠
He's now 5 months old, and I'm hoping to start back with some artwork again. I'll start with offering my welly portraits for mothers day I think, possibly some other watercolour quotes and things too.
Papercutting is taking a back seat at the moment, but I do have something else in the pipeline, something that's taking a lot of practice and commitment, but that will hopefully be a long term venture for me 🤞
