We are excited that tomorrow (Friday 24th April) is our 'Superhero Day', where we invite children to dress up as superheroes in memory of the wonderful Elliott. We ask that, if families are able, you bring in a monetary donation for Elliott's Army, who raise funds for research into anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL). If your child does not wish to dress up as a superhero, they may come in their own clothes. We're looking forward to coming together as a school community to remember Elliott and to raise money for this important cause.

Take on your own Walk of Light 2026 25/03/2026

On Saturday 28th March, a group of brightly lit staff from Eye Primary School are going to do the Walk of Light around the village of Eye to raise money for Blood Cancer UK in support of Miss Stafford, who has recently had a stem cell transplant as part of her treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. We will be leaving the school at 5.30pm and our walk will include Eyebury Road, High Street, Peterborough Road, Ixworth Close, Lindisfarne Road, St Michaels Walk and Little Close.

This walk marks the end of a month long challenge of walking 5000 steps a day. We have already raised just over Β£8100 which is fantastic but if you would like to sponsor us the link is below. We would love it if you could come out, say hello and support us as we walk around the village. Thank you!

A Sporting lunchtime treat!

Today the head, Mr Webster, took some of the school's national and international sporting champions for a McDonald's lunch to say well done on all of their sporting achievements.

Being surrounded by British, European and World champions had Mr Webster ordering a salad for himself but the children assured him that one burger wouldn't hurt🀣

Cross Country championsπŸ†

Over the last 2 weeks children from Eye Primary School have competed in the annual Elite Sport Academy's Cross Country tournament.
After winning both the years 3/4 and 5/6 competition last year both teams, made up of 5 boys and 5 girls, managed to pull off the double by winning them both again in 2025πŸ‘ŒπŸ’ͺ

After continual lunchtime practice over a number of months the children proved that hard work pays!

Well done πŸ‘
