Lowther Endowed School and Little VIPs Day Care We are a small primary school and nursery in the Eden Valley, ranging from 9 months to 11-year olds. Achieving, Caring, Enjoying, Our school has four classes.

Lowther Endowed School is handily located in the beautiful Eden Valley between Penrith and Shap, in the village of Hackthorpe. Our catchment area consists of 6 villages and many rural hamlets and farms, but we welcome children from other areas too. Hedgehogs: Reception and Year 1, Year 2, Otters: Year 3 & 4 and Badgers: Year 5 & 6.

🏃‍♀️ Ceris Blomfield is taking on the Kielder Forest Marathon! 🌲

On Sunday, 4th October, Ceris will be taking on the incredible challenge of the Kielder Forest Marathon to raise money for two fantastic local causes:

💙 Askham Swimming Pool

Ceris is also a Parent Governor at school, so these causes are particularly close to her heart. ❤️

Join us at Lowther Endowed School & Little VIPs Day Care on Friday 25th September, 2:30–4:30pm for tea, coffee and plenty of cake, all while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support!
