These 2 little ones have a healthy interest in bugs, insects and our outdoors.

They were a little unsure about the writhing pot of maggots that Chris presented them with though.

They asked lots of questions and were more than a tad relieved when they were put away again for fishing with 🐛

We have explored, shape, colour, construction, balancing, painting and teamwork today.

We made a 'snail' with blu tack and pretended to look after him.... This was so good for our imaginations, we even pretended to feed him and put him to bed. We were very gentle and kind.

We painted and used cute bunny stickers, peeling the backing from the stickers helped our pincer grip and encouraged concentration on tasks.

At nap time, some of us watched a movie while the others slept.

And now for some outdoor free play.

We have looked at shape, constructing, mixing colours and painting pictures of our choice.

We are enjoying running around playing football and using the swingball to help our balance and co-ordination before some free play of our choice.

We have had so much fun running and playing on the fields and park today.

We have been dinosaurs, roaring and chasing each other, we have climbed, balanced, slid and swung.

We have collected dandelions and seed heads and have had lots of fun blowing the seeds around.

A busy one today, painting a spider to continue our learning about bugs and insects.
Some tooth brushing practice for self care and to support our motor skills. Looking at books to learn all about teeth and visiting the dentist.
Musical instruments to practice our listening and joining in with others and some dancing for fun and exercise to our favourite tunes.

We have had a morning of number recognition and sensory play.

Not content to enjoy the experience of popping bubble wrap with our fingers, we also did it with our feet.

Then, using the light pad we explored shapes and numbers in tactile, smooth coverings. Each had coloured fluid, glitter and tiny squidgy bubbles in.

Some of us know each number by sight, some of us can name our colours and shapes, all of us are learning every day and we all had fun.

We had such an exciting time seeing the grass being cut at our park today.

The tractor driver waved at us each time he turned around to cut the sections.

We had more fun watching him than playing 😂
