Established in 2004 our NCFE/CACHE accredited Training Centre team have a wealth of experience and expertise across Early Childhood Careers. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality training to embed best practice across all qualifications to ensure current and up to date knowledge is embedded into practice, providing the best start in life for early childhood in Cambridgeshire. Our qualifica

tions centre provides a safe, informal learning environment with flexible approaches, small learning groups where everyone is valued regardless of age, experience, social and cultural backgrounds. Our aim is to offer qualifications which enable early childhood careers and pathways to those wishing to enter the workforce. All qualifications offered are recognised by the Department of Education (DfE) to meet the national standards and are licences to practice.

The Cambridgeshire Early Childhood Qualifications Centre (CECQC) delivers introductory courses fully funded, and part funded for people considering or already working within Cambridgeshire early years.
CECQC are currently enrolling for the following courses:

Exploring Early Childhood Careers

NCFE/CACHE Level 1 Introduction to Early Years Settings
NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
NCFE/CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce

Pathway One - For people considering Early Childhood careers in Cambridgeshire
Pathway Two - For people already working in Childhood careers in Cambridgeshire

We are pleased to announce, that the new early years membership offer launches on Friday, 10 May 2024.

There are membership options available for all types of providers, including new additional packages specifically designed to support expanding providers, with discounts available for multi-package membership, and a combined package available for schools running provision for early years children in the two to five age range.

Many of the membership packages also include credits which can be exchanged for places on essential (mandatory) courses free of charge. Further details about these courses, and the membership options available, can be found on the Learn Together website.

The Cambridgeshire Early Childhood Qualifications Centre (CECQC) have an exciting opportunity for early years practitioners to share their professional journeys with others considering entering the workforce. CECQC would love for their learners, observers, mentors, and trainees to join them to develop mini videos sharing your early years journey. Free story time this Friday!

Some of you might not have had the opportunity to see our fantastic storyteller Marion Leeper in action over our Festival of Stories. Well, one of Marion's sessions had to be postponed & we can let you know that it will now run on Friday 12 April from 1.30pm-2.30pm at Eaton Socon Child & Family Centre.

If you & your little one are interested in listening to a magical story about Aiken Drum & his treasure hunt, then why not book a place? Simply, call 01480 372700. Please note, this storytelling session is suitable for little ones aged 3-5 & their parents or carers.
