Music and movement classes in our community

With more than 35 years of experience as the leader in musical learning, Kindermusik International understands music’s unique ability to impact children (and families!) in profound ways. Each week in my Kindermusik studio, I lead music classes for families filled with singing, dancing, laughing, instrument playing, and storytelling—all backed by Kindermusik International’s team of early childhood music experts and the latest research on how children learn best. In addition, I partner with parents to support their role as a child’s first and best teacher by providing tools, tips, and resources to understand how (and why!) to use music and movement throughout the week. From Kindermusik’s early childhood music classes around the world to the loving local community of families at my studio, together we put a song in the hearts of children. ASTERAKIA: A fun music and movement class for 0-6 years old in GREEK!

Timetable:
Mondays at 13:30 and 14:10 at Paramount Gym (316-322 Green Lanes, N13 5TT),
Thursdays at 16:00 at Paramount Gym (316-322 Green Lanes, N13 5TT),
Fridays at 11:15, 12 and 13:15 at the Winchmore Pub. (Winchmore Hill Road, N21 1QA)

Asterakia is designed to enable children from 0-5 years old to enjoy learning Greek through fun musical and movement activities. The structure of the lesson is : Greeting time and Greeting song, Puppet Time ( The puppet is always an animal who speaks greek), a fun movement activity, and learn a new song.(instruments are used for different activities) This half term we are focusing on different animal songs and vocabulary and who we are. Also we started learning counting up to ten. Parents are having all songs and vocabulary in hand in Greek-English and for the more adventurous in Greek. Come and join us this week!

5 more days for the Christmassy Event at The Winchmore Pub! The theme is around, snowflakes, snow, snowballs and everything that every child needs to do in order to get a present for Christmas...... First activity is called: Listen to mummy and daddy!!!! In addition to this every child will have the opportunity to create their own Christmassy ART WORK!!!

Welcome to Laugh & Learn for 3-4 years old. Start in January every Thursday at 14:00-14:45 at Paramount Sudio in Palmers Green and every Friday at 14:00-14:45 at The Winchmore Pub.

Laugh & Learn classes combine the preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play. Early music concepts are introduced, and age-appropriate activities will help foster the child’s independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. Parents (who only join the class for the final activities) will also get a chance to connect with other caregivers, and share in the wonder of parenting a preschooler.

Sing & Play is an energetic and joyful celebration of the very young child’s growing new movement and language skills. A mix of parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities provide parents a unique opportunity to participate in all the music and movement fun, but also to stand back, observe, and revel in how these older babies and toddlers are beginning to walk, talk, sing, play, clap, tap, and dance—all on their own!
