V.A Dance

V.A Dance V.A. Dance was established in 2011. The school was created to introduce local children to all aspects of performing arts, taught by industry professionals.

Dance was established in 2011 by sisters Victoria and Annabel Hay, both Italia Conti Trained. Although the school is primarily dance based ( all teachers are I.S.T.D and I.D.T.A. Qualified) one of it's greatest strengths is the faculty that has been assembled by it's Principles. The students are not only taught by experienced teaching professionals, with regards to technique and discipline, but also all the staff are working West End Performers. Whether the children go on to full time training and a career in the profession or not, the aim of V.A. Dance is to instil real self confidence in every child. By setting out individual, and team, goals for all the students through Musical Theatre Productions, West End Workshops, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Acrobatics, Singing and Script work. In this high energy and fun environment, the children blossom.

NEXT UP….’HOOVERVILLE’ NATIONAL CHAMPIONS🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 Best in the country for Inter Musical Theatre Small Group. As well as singing, harmony lines, dancing, and acting through song we always ask about back story - ‘what would your character be doing or what have they gone through?’ Why are they singing the lines they are?’ ‘What do they mean?’…we note and treat our kids like west end working professionals, and they totally smashed it with this performance. Forever proud of you all.
