Small group sessions are designed to build confidence in a calm, supportive environment.
Children work together, practise key skills and begin to feel more secure in their learning — without the pressure of a classroom.
Sometimes that shared experience makes all the difference 🤍

Before every session, I plan carefully around each child’s strengths, gaps and confidence levels.
It’s not just about covering content — it’s about building understanding in a way that feels manageable and clear.
That’s often where the biggest progress happens 🤍

Tutoring doesn’t have to be a last resort.
Sometimes it’s simply a steady step taken early — before small gaps widen and confidence dips further.
If your child understands at home but freezes at school, rushes work to avoid mistakes, or has started saying “I don’t care,” it may be worth exploring support.
If you’re unsure whether now is the right time, you’re very welcome to message me for a conversation.

Hello 👋 I thought it was time to properly introduce myself.
I’m Hannah — a Qualified Primary Teacher (QTS) with over five years’ KS2 classroom experience, including teaching Year 5.
After working in the classroom, I saw how many capable children begin to doubt themselves — not because they can’t do it, but because they don’t always get the time, clarity or space to fully understand.
That’s why I now specialise in calm, structured, confidence-building tuition for Years 3–6.
Small groups and 1:1 sessions allow children to:
• Ask questions without pressure
• Practise skills properly
• Strengthen understanding at their own pace
I provide KS2 Maths and English tuition across Torbay & South Devon, with sessions tailored to each child’s strengths and gaps.
If you’d like to chat about whether tutoring might help your child, feel free to send me a message 🤍

The home visit is a calm first step.
It allows your child to meet me somewhere they feel comfortable before formal tutoring begins.
It gives me time to understand:
• Academic strengths
• Areas that need support
• Confidence levels
And it gives you space to decide whether I’m the right fit for your family.
There’s no rush. Just a structured start.
If you’re based in Torbay and considering 1:1 tuition, message “ENQUIRE” to arrange a home visit.

Starting tutoring can feel like a big decision.
Some of the most common questions parents ask are:
Does my child need to be behind?
How long until we see progress?
Do you prepare for SATs?
Where do sessions take place?
Often, tutoring isn’t about falling behind. It’s about rebuilding confidence early.
If you have questions that aren’t covered here, you’re always welcome to message me directly.
There’s no pressure — just a conversation.
