Happy birthday Marldon preschool. 60 years we've been open and a part of the village community. During those 60 years we have welcomed lots of families through our doors with many coming back with their children and grand children and what a pleasure it is to be here still today.
Today we hosted our 60th birthday π party for our children and families with inflatables, buffet and of course cake.. and we definitely did sing happy birthday to the preschool too.
We would like to thanks Mane Events and for making our day extra special.

What an absolutely fabulous evening - full of Christmas cheer, laughter and crafting. Everyone made fabulous wreaths which will soon be adorning front doors! Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our fundraising and special thanks to Marldon School for so kindly letting us use their hall, Marldon Christmas tree farm for their foliage donation and the preschool staff members and their families for spending the last few days foraging. AND the best news, we get to do it all again this evening πππ

At Preschool today we had a very special guest reader. District Councillor Sam Penfold took some time out from her busy day to come in and read the children some brilliant stories. We all really enjoyed her visit and canβt wait for her to come back soon π

Preschool children celebrated VE Day by decorating the hall, creating their own beautiful flags and by having fish and chips and red, white and blue decorated cakes for lunch. We left flowers and a card the children had coloured at the Church - which is so beautifully decorated for the occasion - and also flowers at the memorial mosaic π
