Did you know there are differences between men and women when it comes to cardiac arrest and the help they receive?

Research shows:

🔹 Men are more likely to experience cardiac arrest overall.
🔹 Women are more likely to collapse at home.
🔹 Women are less likely to receive CPR from a bystander.
🔹 Public defibrillators are used less often on women before the ambulance arrives.
🔹 Survival rates are generally lower for women.

Every minute counts in a cardiac arrest. That’s why it’s so important that everyone feels confident to act, no matter who needs help.

Learning CPR and knowing how to use a defibrillator could help save a life ❤️

The festive season is full of fun, food and celebrations — but it can also bring a few extra risks. From minor cuts in the kitchen to trips, slips and falls, knowing some basic first aid can make all the difference.

If you aren't confident to know what to do, make learning First Aid your New Years resolution. Reach out and book in your First Aid Course for 2026.
