Our first cooking session tonight at after school club….

We have started off with simple wraps and salad and shown the children how to cut food safely.
Over the coming weeks we will be introducing more techniques and gradually build on our cooking skills.

This weeks menu and activities -
Breakfast each day will include cereal, yogurt, fruit and toast, and drinks available throughout each session. Alternative teas available for those children that do not like/ allergic to specific foods.

Monday -
Breakfast - scrambled egg on toast
Tea - chilli and cheese nachos

Activity - Free play

Tuesday -
Breakfast - Bacon sandwiches
Tea - choice of 3 pasta dishes

Activity - Cooking Club

Wednesday -
Breakfast - croissants/ crumpets
Tea- sausage, mash and beans

Activity - Craft club

Thursday -
Breakfast - waffles and fruit
Tea - lasagne and garlic bread (start of our around the world Thursday)

Activity - Craft that represents Italy

Friday -
Breakfast - full breakfast
Tea - bacon or sausage sandwich

As of next week (Monday 7th September) our activities will include -
Tuesdays - Our Cooking Lab - where we will be learning how to prep and cook food and smoothies 🥤🧋Yum Yum

Wednesday - Craft Creation club - Here we will be clay modelling, bubble painting, sewing and much more 🧵🎨

Thursdays - The children have asked if we can carry on with our ‘foods from around the world’ night. This term we will be sampling foods from France, Sweden, Mexico and more.

We will check payments again at lunch time today. Thereafter childcare will not commence going forward if not received.
