đ Together We Shine đ
Our Pride quilt is finally complete, and we canât wait to display it as part of our refurbishment.
Created by Mrs Walkerâs sewing club alongside women from our local residential home, the quilt is made up of squares of fabric contributed by our community, stitched together to create one shared piece.
We love what this project represents: community, inclusivity and connection.

Exciting news. đ Our brand new Murray Building is officially open!
Designed with modern learning spaces and inviting outdoor areas, we know it will be filled with curiosity, creativity, friendship and laughter for years to come.
A fun fact behind the name: the building honours the Murray family, who worked alongside their father, James Murray, on the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary in the Scriptorium - located on the site of what is now our woodland walk.
With strong links between the Murray daughters and Oxford High School, weâre delighted to celebrate this fascinating piece of Oxford history as part of our own story.

Our Year 5 students enjoyed an immersive trip to Pitt Rivers as part of their cross-curricular shadow puppetry project â a collaboration between Mandarin and Music, which brings together Chinese-language shadow puppet storytelling with musical accompaniment.
During the trip, students had the opportunity to handle Javanese puppets and even took part in a shadow puppet performance, before exploring the museum and gaining fascinating insights into global puppetry traditions.

Embracing a âPirates vs Mermaidsâ theme, our students took to the stage and delivered a performance full of parrots, pearls, plunder, and plenty of personality!đ§ââď¸đ´ââ ď¸ â
Bravo Year 3.

Happy Earth Day! đ
Did you know that Earth Studies is part of our curriculum here at Oxford High Prep? From climate change to fast fashion, the subject explores global environmental issues, helping students understand the impact humans have on our planet, while empowering them to think about solutions and how they can make a difference.
We also connect learning to the local community, with our Year 5 students having visited Waste2Taste cafe, where they discovered how surplus food can be used to reduce waste.
