Have you been watching Ride or Die – the new action-adventure comedy series on Prime? 👀

You might be interested to know that it was created and written by one of our very own OHS alumnae, Tessa Coates (Class of 2007). 🎬

After leaving Oxford High, Tessa studied Anthropology at Durham University before building a successful career in stand-up comedy.

During her time at OHS, Tessa was part of the Oxfordshire Young Enterprise Company of the Year, which created a book for 7 to 12 year olds, a sure sign of the creative career she was about to embark on.

We love seeing where our alumnae go after leaving OHS and following their diverse and fascinating career paths. Congratulations, Tessa! 👏

What happens when Music and Mandarin come together? 🎭🎶

Before the summer holidays, our Year 5 pupils delighted parents and visitors with a series of imaginative shadow puppet performances, combining language, storytelling and music in a creative showcase.

After designing and making their own puppets, the girls brought familiar tales to life through original scripts in Mandarin with musical elements they had developed throughout the project.

From their creativity and teamwork to their growing confidence in Mandarin, every performance was a joy to watch. Well done Year 5!

One small seed can grow into something extraordinary. 🌻

To mark Oxford High's 150th birthday, one of our Year 5 students has planted 150 sunflowers - a beautiful tribute to our school's milestone.

Inspired by our school emblem, she hopes her project will do more than just brighten the landscape. By creating a patch of flowers, she hopes to nurture a small ecosystem and support local wildlife.

We love seeing our students pursue the ideas and causes they care about. Whether they're championing the environment or exploring new interests. Their curiosity is one of the common traits that make them unmistakably Oxford High students.

Another action-packed Sports Day with Prep School!

So much joy and OHS spirit were on display that it was impossible not to get swept up in the excitement. From the first race around the track to the classic egg-and-spoon race. Our students threw themselves into every challenge with great energy and huge smiles.

A special guest of honour was warmly welcomed to the day - our wonderful therapy dog, who received lots of love and attention from our students.

As always, it was a fantastic day full of fun, teamwork and unforgettable moments. Big thank you and well done to everyone involved!

Two Of Oxford High’s Very Own Strong Women 💪✨

A huge congratulations to Mrs Day and Miss Dandridge for completing the Total Warrior challenge in support of our 150th birthday celebrations!

Taking on a host of heart-racing obstacles, from leaping over the Human BBQ (2-foot-high flames) to a plunge into icy-cold water. Our fearless teachers tackled every challenge with incredible determination and enthusiasm.

In true style, they even cartwheeled over the finish line for a little extra pizzazz (we'd expect nothing less!).

We're so proud of their fantastic achievement.

What. ✨ A. ✨ Year.

That's a wrap on another incredible school year at Oxford High School.

From the unforgettable residential trips that saw our students hit destinations across the globe, including China, Amsterdam and Normandy. To the spectacular performances, cherished school traditions and the countless moments of discovery, creativity and achievement. It's been a year to remember.

Thank you to our wonderful school community for making it so special. We hope everyone has a fantastic summer break, and we can't wait to welcome you back after the summer break for another exciting year!
