Last rehearsal with the poppets before their final showcase. They pushed hard, shone brightly, and filled the room with energy. Can’t wait to see them light up the stage in front of family and friends.

Poppets had an absolute blast on Sunday as they rehearsed for their show in just two weeks’ time! At only four years old, they’re showing real determination and perseverance — pushing themselves, listening beautifully, and giving everything they’ve got.

This weekend’s Poppets session took place in a very special spot – the library at Cheney School! It’s light, bright and spacious… and even more exciting? It’s where our little stars will perform at the end of the year! 🎭

They embraced the new setting beautifully – learning lines, singing their hearts out, and picking up stage movement with focus and fun. This group is really coming into their own. We couldn’t be prouder. 🌈💫

Our wonderful academy, PQA Headington, has been featured in the latest edition of the Oxfordshire Education Yearbook, as well as in both online and print editions of The Oxford Times. 🗞️

The article celebrates our academy as an inclusive setting for young people to explore interests and build lifelong skills, as well as explore their creativity, build confidence and create community. Our young people experience this every Sunday at Cheney School, from our three core classes: musical theatre, film & television, comedy & drama.
