Christian Home Education Support Service

Christian Home Education Support Service Christian Home Education Support Service, CHESS (formerly The Home Service), was founded in 1992 by a group of UK Christian home educating families.

Today we have over 500 member families dedicated to biblically based education. The Christian Home Education Support Service (formerly the Home Service) was founded in 1992 by a group of parents, who were themselves involved in Christian home education in the UK, to provide help and advice for those who were treading the same road or thinking of doing so.

This is a book containing a selection of home educating case studies. It was collated and printed by CHESS using the testimonies of CHESS members who were willing to write down their experiences for the benefit of those coming behind them on the home education road. It reinforces the understanding that every family’s journey is as unique and different as the children in it, and is particularly helpful for those new to home education.
