After a busy enjoyable week here at Kelly HQ it’s time for some family fun

My Summer holidays survival guide ☀️🍦

⁉️⁉️Time to think about buying new school clothes⁉️⁉️

(so many shops offer FREE in-store collection so its easy to order those new school items, try on and return if needed).

My top tip is to think about how we can reuse and recycle items from the last school year- does your child really need a new backpack, school lunch bag, pencil case and water bottle or can you clean and tidy up something they previous had? Can you get away with cleaning things up… You could add fun by attaching a key ring/ stick/ pin badge or a personalised sticker?

- Milton the water bottle
- apply names to EVERY Item!
- print off a step by step guide to getting ready for school
- take a stroll and practice the walk to school

A chilled morning with the family and taking our oldest son to his football practice. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

Then a small cleaning job and more family time .

Evening babysitting tonight for the very adorable G and E in Didcot.

Ice at the ready and fans fully charged for a hot 2 days of nannying.

Todays plans;
- Water tray for the children to splash their hands in and develop sinking and floating exploration with bath toys .

- cold water in open cups to drink with a chunk of lemon or cucumber to taste and rehydrate.

- a gluing and sticking activity of a gingerbread person dressing safely for the sunshine

- picnic lunch in the shade

We’re already onto week 4 of 6 for the Summer Holidays.

Yesterday I nannied and we visited Millets Farm… first time in many years and it did not disappoint us… so if your looking for a fun day out I can recommend Millets Farm Maze 🌟

Slides, small world areas, skittles, ride on vehicles. 2 corn mazes. Peddle go karts, slides, ring toss and more .

Importantly - Toilets, cafe and plenty of shade to picnic or play!!

And a wonderful surprise to receive a free biscuit at the end of the trail in the farmshop.
