Dear colleagues, please feel free to express your areas and fields for co-operation and knowledge sharing.
I have been volunteering for The White Horse Medical practice for six months. Our practice champions are running Walking and Reading groups, Digital Cafe and other groups. Now, I’m excited to introduce my own course to the mix!
*Healthy Living Essentials: A Four-Week Guide* is going to start next week! This course has been a true passion project, and I'm so grateful to see it come to life. I want make evidence-based health information accessible and understandable to everyone. This four-week programme empowers participants to create a clear and informed vision for their own healthy lifestyle, free from the noise of misinformation and fads.
I would love to hear from all of you who have experience using health promotion techniques in your communities. What have been your biggest challenges? What strategies have worked best for you in engaging participants and promoting lasting behavior change?

Welcome Back Public Health Enthusiasts!
Hey everyone,
We're thrilled to announce the official REBOOT of the Oxford Brookes University Public Health Society Facebook Group!
Speaking of new beginnings, let me introduce myself! My name is Anastasia Nemchuk, a recent MPH graduate from Oxford Brookes. I'm passionate about public health and, like many of you, eager to connect with fellow students, alumni, and professionals in the field.
That's where this group comes in! We envision it as a vibrant space for:
Engaging discussions: Let's delve into the latest public health topics, share case studies, and brainstorm solutions together.
Collaboration and knowledge-sharing: Need help with an assignment? Curious about a specific public health issue? Fire away, and watch the collective wisdom of our group come together!
Networking and career exploration: Connect with like-minded individuals, discover public health-related job opportunities, and gain career insights from alumni and guest speakers.
But this group thrives on YOUR participation! So, to kick things off, we'd love to hear from you:
Re-introduce yourself! What's your name, year of study (if applicable), and area of interest in public health?
What are you hoping to get out of this group?
Share your thoughts, suggestions, and topics you'd like to discuss.
Let's make this a valuable resource for the entire Oxford Brookes Public Health community!

Having a panic during assignments is common but we recommend that you go back to the assignment brief and the mark scheme to see what we are asking you to do. People often make the assignments harder than they need to be by missing the help from your tutors.
