Rain. What relief after a few really hot and sticky days. Need to get a few chores done around the house that I had put off due to the hot weather making me lazy! The cool temp today is perfect to get motivated again.

Schools out!

Its officially the last day of term today and I am in a mix of emotions. Mostly dreading the constant fights and battles I will have to deal with on a minute to minute basis but also looking forward to spending time with my children.

Growing up school holidays were mostly a massive bore so I am determined to not allow my children to have the same experience.

Any suggestions to keep our days full of fun will be greatly appreciated. 😊

First day of spring is here!
I do feel a renewed sense of energy towards building my business. Yesterday I was at my home away from home (office!). GrantThornton offer an amazing coworking space 🤗
As a freelancer, anyone will tell you it can get terribly isolating purely working from home and I do at times miss the office environment. But with nearby, I not only work really productively while I'm there but I also get my fix of office working (as well as tea and coffee on tap! 👏)
Today's working looks very different. (Trying to) working from home with the children nearby.

You wouldn't turn up at a party and just stand quietly in the corner hoping someone will approach you to talk to you about what you're interested in. Nor would you walk in and jump into an existing conversation just to talk about yourself.
That's exactly how to view your social media platforms. Let's be social on social media!
Spark conversation with your potential customers and show interest in them and their interests.
Think of how you would turn up to a party and mingle within the room. How do you get to know people before you sell your products/services to them?

I'm going to a brunch event later this morning and I can't wait to meet a new group of empowering women who support each other for a better cause!
Empowered women empower women. And as a mother of a little girl, my hope is that I can give her the platform she needs to fulfil her dreams as she grows up.

The month of love is saying farewell but its a great time to remind ourselves....

Hello spring!

Seems very strange to be welcoming spring so early on in the year but I'm not complaining! I love this time of year when the flowers start blooming and bringing some colour back after the cold and dark winter.

Spring is also a great time to boost my energies and commitment to ! I love meeting new people and discovering ways in which we can all work together.

This morning was a great session Meet & Mingle Network Oxfordshire where I met a great bunch of talented and creative individuals, many of whom I can't wait to get connected with.

How do you like to network?

Wow! What a half term it has been this week!!!

We have made cards, baked cupcakes, decorated cupcakes, made bubbles in the garden, baked cookies, made posters, painted pictures, made indoor tents, had several trips to the park (twice on 1 of the days this week), dealt with a dozen tantrums (each) and wiped noses countless times as everyone has a cold (including myself!)......

Phew

But there's still the weekend to get through 😱

The ☀️ rays have inspired us to get outside into the garden this afternoon. We found lots of these flowers springing up all over the garden. These little hands really couldn't resist picking a few...🌸🌹👌
