Sands Theatre Arts School first opened its doors in 1999. Since then it has trained hundreds of young people - from the age of 7 to 18 - in the performing arts.

This was a WEEK!
A week brimful of creativity, fun, singing our hearts out, friendship, dancing our socks off, laughing, shouting, working hard, telling a story through acting, sweating, ice lollies, confidence, costume changes, scripts, fun, a live band, dance moves, being loud, teamwork and making memories that last a lifetime. And the energy, OH THE ENERGY!
Thank you to everyone that was involved onstage, backstage, technically, behind the bar, on the door or making lots of noise in the audience.

We don't often post videos of rehearsals but we wanted to share how proud we are of our students. This is a glimpse of ages 7 to 18 working together to make a little bit of stage magic. These are busy, busy rehearsal days and this is what they look like. Only two and a half weeks to go until Footloose is on stage but you can already sense that, although its not perfect yet, it's going to hit the ground running with oodles of energy and fun!
