Brands aren’t underpaying you because you’re “not big enough”…
They’re underpaying you because you’re letting them…
If you’ve ever landed a paid brand deal but felt like something was off, like the rate didn’t match the impact you know you have, this is why:
🌺 You’re charging for deliverables instead of impact
A brand isn’t just paying for content. They’re paying for your influence, trust, and ability to move people
🌺 You’re leading with follower count instead of conversion
A 50k creator with a track record of sales is infinitely more valuable than a 500k creator with weak engagement. Brands care about impact, not audience size
🌺 You’re not protecting your name
If a brand wants to run ads with your content? That’s a licensing fee. Your content is an asset - protect it
🌺 You’re accepting one-off deals instead of locking in partnerships
One post is a transaction. A long-term deal is predictability and power. Brands want consistency, the key is positioning yourself as an asset, not a one-time ad slot
