Happy St Winifred’s Day! We’re all ready for the day ahead! Thank you to Friends of St Winifred's - Lee SE12 of for the wonderful decorations!

Our Christ The King Sixth Forms community gathered at St George's Cathedral for a special start-of-year mass. Archbishop John blessed our staff and students, along with 130 other Catholic schools from across the region. It was a beautiful service filled with prayers and wonderful hymns.

Today, we represented our whole school community at the Southwark Diocese ‘Beginning of the school year’ mass in London, celebrated by the Archbishop. 3 of our children read the bidding prayers in the cathedral in front of a huge congregation of representatives from across the diocese. We were so proud of how clearly they read and how confident they were

On Wednesday, the children gathered for the Beginning of the Year Mass to reflect on the theme: "Choosing what really matters." We are so grateful to Fr. Peter for his inspiring message about how Jesus blesses those who are humble, kind, and trust in Him, even when they have little.

A special thank you to all the readers who participated in the readings; their contributions made the service even more meaningful.

Yesterday, our Prayer Leaders attended a very special mass at Aylesford Priory along with other Catholic schools to celebrate the importance of praying together. During this event, we shared a sense of faith and community, fostering spiritual growth through collective worship.

Today we crowned Our Lady. Despite the weather cancelling the outdoor celebration, St Mary class and the Year 5 prayer leaders led us all in a wonderful assembly in the main hall. Thank you to all the children and teachers involved event!
