Edit! - After a lot of consideration our team have decided that given the current weather conditions we will instead by hiking Moel Eilio, which is approximately 3 miles north west of Snowdon the mountain we hiked last year!

I’m excited to share that the EHU Dance Team is planning to climb Scafell Pike on Saturday, 25th January 2025, to raise funds for our upcoming competition season. Scafell Pike, standing at 978 meters (3,209 feet), is England’s highest peak, and this challenge reflects our dedication and commitment to our passion for dance.

We’re seeking support to cover competition fees and transportation costs, which are essential for us to participate and showcase our talents. Your generous donations will enable us to focus on our performances and represent our community with pride.

We are the Edge Hill University Dance Team. We offer a variety of student-led classes and perform twice a year in winter and summer, showcasing the diverse talents of our dancers. Our competition team consists of 43 members, and we participate in three competitions each year, dedicating every Sunday to perfecting our competition pieces and having fun whilst doing it!

Due to the high costs associated with competitions and the lack of funding for our society, we have an events team that organizes various fundraising activities each year. These efforts help cover expenses such as transportation, costumes, props, and competition fees. We also have a GoFundMe page for those who wish to support our team and contribute to a successful competition season. Thank you for your consideration!
