Ormskirk Music Centre Proudly serving the community of Ormskirk & West Lancashire with musical opportunities. The music school is open from 4.00 - 7.00pm on Wednesdays.

Ran by Lancashire Music Service, young musicians of all levels of experience are invited to take lessons, play together in bands and ensembles and sing in choirs. Ormskirk Music Centre provides music lessons and ensembles for all instruments. Ideal for those who need or may prefer to have lessons during out of school time. Some of the instruments you can learn at Ormskirk Music Centre include viol

in, viola, cello, piano, drums, guitar, ukelele, trumpet, cornet, trombone, baritone, saxophone, clarinet, flute.

Just a reminder, as you all get ready for a new term starting this week, that the music centre is not open until September 16th!

Emails will be going out later this week with information on timings and any other groups you’d like to sign up for 🌟🎶

🎤 We are VERY excited for the launch of our Vocal Lab sessions 🎤

After delivering these sessions across Lancashire, we are excited to get creating at Ormskirk Music Centre too 🎶

Vocal Lab is the perfect space for those who love to sing, rap, want to write their own songs, record their own songs or work with other young people to produce music 🎧

These sessions will start back on Wednesday 7th October from 6:30-7pm at Ormskirk School, as part of our Silver Membership (£30 a term) 🌟 Ages 10+

For those of you who are getting back into sorting timetables and extra curricular activities for the next year - our music centre is open EVERY Wednesday from 3:30-7:15pm, during term time for ages 5-18 🎶

Our Silver Ensemble Membership is just £30 a term per child, a list of all of our ensembles is below for you.

We are also available for individual instrumental and vocal lessons - just get in touch for availability! ✨

Our Ensembles:

4-4:30pm - Rock Band 101 (beginners with Marco)

4-5pm - West Lancs Young Voices KS1/2 (Pop and musical theatre singing with Sally)

4-5pm - West Lancs Young Voices KS3/4/5 (Pop and musical theatre singing with Alice)

4:30-5pm - Rock Band 2.0 (intermediate level with Simon)

4:45-5:15pm - Ensemble for All (beginners orchestra with Mark)

5-5:30pm - Beat Lab (music technology with Darren)

5:15-6pm - Intermediate Orchestra (with Mark)

5-6pm - SoundYard (musical exploration with Marco)

6:15-6:45pm - Function Band (intermediate to advanced players with Sam)

We were so proud of our students this evening as they joined West Lancs Young Voices for a fantastic Summer Concert at Ormskirk School.

Inspired to make music? Ormskirk Music Centre offers solo and group instrumental and vocal lessons, vocal groups, rock band, orchestra, function band and ensemble for all. Affordable tuition every Wednesday during term time at Ormskirk School. All ages and abilities welcome.
