🎺BRASS AT THE SEASIDE 2026 🎺

We are very excited for this years ‘Brass at the Seaside’ festival, in Lytham St Annes, on the weekend of the 11th & 12th July, funded by Lancashire County Council.

The Bandstand on St Annes promenade will be brought to life by 15 bands, each taking to the stage over the weekend!

Bring your deckchair and join us in watching and listening to the wonderful live music! ⛱️

If you are new here or know anyone looking for music lessons and/or music groups to join, come along this Wednesday to any of the following groups for a trial session, or send us a message/email for more information on individual lessons:

- West Lancs Young Voices (KS1&2) - 4-5pm with Sally

- West Lancs Young Voices (KS3/4/5) - 4-5pm with Alice

- Beat Lab (music technology) - 5-5:30pm with Darren

- SoundYard (musical exploration for ages 6-11) - 5-6pm with Marco

- Intermediate Orchestra - 5:15-6pm with Mark

- Ensemble for All (for beginners on all
instruments) - 4:45-5:15pm with Mark

- Rock Band 101 (beginner band) - 4-4:30pm with Marco

- Rock Band 2.0 (intermediate band) - 4:30-5pm with Simon

- Function Band (intermediate to advanced band) - 6:15-6:45pm with Sam

When we started our Centre Stage bands in 2024, we wanted to give young people a chance to decide what THEY wanted their band to sound like 🌟

We now have violins, harmonicas (amongst the usual pop band set up) practising their favourite country, folk and folk pop songs each week! As well as 2 other bands with completely different styles 🎻🎸🥁🎤🎹

We are extremely excited to invite you to our very first Rock and Pop Day, on Saturday 4th July at Lathom High School, Glenburn Rd, Skelmersdale WN8 6JN 🎸🎤🎹🎧

We will be running the event in collaboration with Rocksteady Music School and we are looking for singers, drummers, guitarists, bass played, keyboard players and aspiring pop/rock musicians to join us for the day! 🤩

The day will be free of charge and is open to any pupils in Key Stage 2, 3 or 4. All musicians are welcome to attend, whether they are beginners or already experts.

The day will run from 10am to 3.00pm, and will include Rock band workshops with Rocksteady, music technology sessions, and vocal workshops.
