​Love is what inspires us to create. Today I’m sharing these tiny hand-painted guardian angels.
​In Ukraine, Petrykivka painting is a language of blessings. Each flower on these hearts symbolises warmth and love for your home.
​May this day bring you light and happiness! 🏡☀️

🎨A hand-painted wooden plate, created as a gift for our family friends. I combined traditional Petrykivka painting with miniature portraits of each family member in traditional Ukrainian costumes.
In our culture, such plates carry deep symbolic meaning. They act like a permanent greeting card, wishing the family prosperity, health, and abundance. 🌾It is more than just decor; it is a visual blessing for the home.🏡

Дерев'яна таріль, створена на подарунок друзям нашої родини. У цій роботі я поєднала петриківський розпис із мініатюрними портретами кожного члена сім'ї у традиційному українському вбранні.
Такі тарілки мають символічне значення. Це свого роду "листівка" на дереві, яка зичить родині добробут, здоров'я та достаток.🌾✨

Погляд у 2009 рік — особливий етап мого шляху. Ці кадри зберігають процес роботи в коледжі та момент захисту диплома в художньому музеї.
​Мій проєкт був присвячений декораціям для театрального відділення. Мені приємно думати, що вони, можливо, і досі слугують фоном для виступів нових поколінь студентів.
​З того часу минуло вже 17 років. Попереду були роки навчання та досвіду, але я і досі дуже люблю малювати петриківські квіти, щоразу знаходячи у кожній пелюстці нове натхнення. 🌸

​Looking back at 2009 — a special year in my journey. These photos capture the creative process at the college and my diploma defense at the Art Museum.
​My project was dedicated to creating decorations for the theatre department. It’s a warm thought that they might still be serving as a backdrop for student performances today. 🎭✨
​17 years have passed since then. There were years of study and experience ahead, but I still love painting Petrykivka flowers, finding new inspiration in every petal. 🌸
