📢 SUMMER BREAK NOTICE
All dance & gymnastics classes are now closed for the rest of the summer break.

We will be back and ready to go from Friday 11th September!

Just to confirm, if classes are cancelled, you would be reimbursed. This isn’t something we wanted to do however it stops us having to increase the class fees for everyone and prevent fee arrears. I hope you can all understand. Please pop me a message if you have questions or issues. Thankyou x

📢 IMPORTANT UPDATE: NEW PAYMENT SYSTEM FROM SEPTEMBER

Hi everyone,
As most of you are aware of the situation regarding fees. We are writing to let you know about a small change to how we take payments for classes starting from Friday 11 September 2026, running through to Friday 23 October 2026 (7 weeks total).

Unfortunately our venue rent and running costs have increased recently. To keep class fees exactly at £5 per class and avoid putting prices up, I’ve had to make the decision to move to termly upfront payments instead of paying on the day. I hope you can understand.

How this will work:

⭐️You pay for the full 7‑week block in advance

⭐️This guarantees your child’s reserved place every week.

⭐️Payments remain the same whether your child attends every session or misses any due to illness, holidays or other reasons

Cost stays exactly the same: £5 per class per week
→ 1 class per week = £35 for the full term
→ 2 classes per week = £70 for the full term
September 11th- October half term.

Payments can be made by cash, and need to be received by Friday 11 September to secure your child’s space.

This change simply helps me cover our fixed venue costs reliably, keep running HMS Dance & Gymnastics smoothly, and keep class fees affordable for you all long‑term.

🤸‍♀️ HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR AMAZING GYMNASTS!

I am so incredibly proud of every single one of you for your hard work, focus and brilliant efforts in today’s assessments!⭐️

Lots of children have taken home thier result letters today – it’s wonderful to see how much they’ve all achieved!

📢 For parents:
If your child has achieved their new level and you’d like to order their certificate & badge, £5, please just send me a message to let me know.
Payments can be made via bank transfer any time before this coming Monday.

All certificates and badges will be awarded to the children during their lesson next week – so we can celebrate together with all their friends! 🎉

📢 IMPORTANT: GYMNASTICS ASSESSMENT – THIS FRIDAY!
(Friday 7th August)

Hi everyone, just a quick reminder about our gymnastics assessment this Friday:

⏰ Arrival time: 5:15pm sharp,
Children will be encouraged to prepare themselves and stretch while equipment is being set up.

👕 What to wear:

• Leotard (cycling shorts may be worn over the top if preferred)

• Long hair tied up securely away from the face

• No jewellery please

📝 About the assessment:
I have been assessing the children’s progress during normal classes for the past 3 weeks already. This Friday will be the final opportunity for them to gain extra ticks across their skill set, strength, stability and performance.

Children will perform short routines that bring together all the skills we have worked on this term.

🚨 No parents/ guardians will be allowed to enter the room while assessment is taking place as this causes distractions and could be off putting to other students.

📜 Results & Awards:

• If your child has achieved their next level, they will bring home a letter this Friday!

• Please pay for their certificate and badge on the day. (£5 per award)

• All awards will be presented to the children in class the following week.

Please note: Awards can be purchased at any time however certificates & badges would be presented the following week.

🚨 URGENT CLASS UPDATE 🚨

Good morning,

Due to the very high temperatures forecast for Friday, we have made the decision to cancel all sessions tomorrow.

The health and safety of our students is our top priority, and in these conditions it is not safe or comfortable to run active classes indoors.

We will resume our normal schedule from next week. Thank you for your understanding.
