✨Im so proud to share the outcome of my recent Quality Assurance visit! ✨

I achieved Good overall, with Outstanding in Personal Development and Independence!

Some of the highlights from the report include:

✨A warm, welcoming and highly reflective childminding environment where children are happy, settled and confident to explore.

✨Recognition of our passion for outdoor learning, gardening and following children’s interests, creating rich and meaningful experiences that children are excited to explore.

✨Praise for our nurturing relationships, which help children develop excellent communication, social skills and independence.

A huge thank you to all of my wonderful families for your continued support and trust. It is a privilege to watch your children learn, grow and flourish every day. We can’t wait to continue creating exciting experiences together!❤️

Our daily herb care routine has become such a special part of our day 🌱
The children have loved watching the herbs grow bigger each day and learning how to care for them. We’ve even enjoyed tasting some of what we’ve grown using our cress in egg mayo sandwiches, adding fresh basil to pasta sauces and making delicious cheese and chive twists 😋
A wonderful way to explore growth and where food comes from 💚

📚Today for World Book Day each child brought in their favourite book from home. They loved showing their books to their friends and enjoyed looking through and reading each other’s stories together. Sharing books like this is a lovely way to build confidence, communication and a love of reading.

We also read Little Red Riding Hood and completed an activity based around the story which the children really enjoyed.

We added a new book to the setting today too No Probllama 🦙

All in all, it’s been a lovely day celebrating books and stories!

Last week was full of Christmas crafts and sparkly creations🎄🎅🏻✨

✨ Our little Moo & Roo explorers have had a busy week! ✨

🌊 We made jiggly jellyfish for World Jellyfish Day – lots of glue and wobbly tentacles!
🎆 We had fun creating firework pictures for Bonfire Night, using bright colours!
🌺 And for Remembrance Sunday, we planted poppy seeds and talked about being kind and caring.

So much fun, mess, and learning through play 💕
