🌟5 star hygiene rating🌟

We recently had our routine environmental health inspection and maintained our 5 start rating 🥰 We are so thrilled with how the inspection went and the positive feedback on our thorough processes, which the inspector could clearly see implemented throughout our kitchen spaces.

Couldn’t be happier with our team and their continued efforts to keeping a safe environment.

Well done 💚🧡 So proud!

🍁 Autumn is one of our favourite times of the year at nursery! As the leaves begin to change colour and the days get cooler, there are so many wonderful learning opportunities for our little explorers to discover.
From collecting colourful leaves and conkers, exploring the changing weather and noticing signs of the season, to creating beautiful autumn artwork, there is so much to see, touch, talk about and investigate! 🌳🍂🎨
We love following the children's curiosity and turning everyday autumn treasures into exciting learning experiences. Whether we’re counting leaves, talking about colours, developing our senses, building vocabulary or simply enjoying the outdoors, every moment is an opportunity to learn and grow. 🐿️🍁✨

💚We passed with distinction 💚
It's the highest accolade in the Eco-Schools programme, and it isn't handed out lightly. Each of our nurseries formed an Eco-Committee, reviewed what we were already doing well, built an action plan around real environmental topics, and got children involved in projects they could see and understand: growing, recycling, saving water, looking after the outdoor spaces they play in every day.

🍂 Autumn has arrived! 🍁
The children have been busy exploring the beautiful colours of autumn and getting creative with their own artwork. 🎨 From warm reds and golden yellows to rich oranges and earthy browns, they’ve been inspired by the changing season all around us.
It’s been wonderful to see their creativity, imagination and individuality shine through in every piece! 🧡🍃
We love celebrating the seasons through art and learning! ✨

Every MiChild nursery has now been awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag.

None of it was a grand gesture. It was a lot of small, consistent choices, made across all fourteen of our nurseries, checked and confirmed by independent assessors.

We're proud of what our teams and children have achieved, and even prouder that sustainability is now simply part of how MiChild works, not a one off project.

Read more about the Green Flag Award in our latest article and what it means for Early Years.
