⭐️ A new corridor space for the children to travel back in time. ⭐️

🕵🏻‍♂️ They will be encouraged to explore non-fiction books, books set in different periods of time, and to explore historical artefacts. 🕵🏼‍♀️

This space also has investigation questions to encourage hard thinking.🧐

We cannot wait for the children to explore this area on Wednesday.

Need a little extra flexibility around the school day? Our Wrap Around Care provision is here to help! 💚

Before School Club - Open from 7:50am, giving children a safe, welcoming start to their school day.

After School Club - Open until 4:30pm, providing a fun and relaxed end to the school day.

Booking is easy! Simply log into Arbor, register your child for the club and select the correct membership. We’re pleased to have kept our prices the same as last year, with Wrap Around Care available for just £5 per session. Don’t forget to top up your Arbor account before booking!

Whether you need an early start, a later pick-up, or simply a little extra flexibility, our Wrap Around Care is a convenient option for Edith Weston Academy families.

🌿Sensory Garden 🌿

Here is a sneak preview of the progress made in developing our new sensory garden, which will be completed in time for the new academic year.

We are incredibly grateful to the staff who have been working extremely hard this week, as well as their family and friends who have generously joined us to help make this dream a reality.

They have dedicated their time, worked incredibly hard, and helped make this wonderful space possible for our children.

We cannot thank them enough for all their hard work, dedication and support.

A huge thank you to Tesco Stronger Starts and to our wonderful PTA for funding our vision.

We cannot wait for it to be officially open in September for the whole school to enjoy. 🌻🌸

Military children become experts at making new friends...

But that doesn't make saying goodbye any easier.

Today is National Friendship Day, and we're celebrating the friendships that survive house moves, new schools and being miles apart.

Our final movie night of the year was a huge success and the ice cream was a hit!

Due to the popularity of these events throughout the year, we will continue them next year. 🙂
