As you are all aware, oracy and poetry have been a huge focus for Edith Weston Academy this year and we entered the Poetry By Heart national competition.

We are so proud to announce that EVERY Edith Weston finalist entry was COMMENDED!

We can also share the amazing news that
-One child won BEST IN COUNTY for 'Classic'
-One child was HIGHLY COMMENDED for 'Freestyle'
-Our staff won a Poetry Superstar award in recognition of 'going above and beyond to support pupils'

We are so incredibly proud of our children and their achievements! 🤩

Stepping Stones Parent Course

A 7-week course for parents and carers of children aged 0–11 years who have developmental disabilities, are neurodiverse or have additional needs.

The course focuses on:

💛 managing behaviour
💛 promoting development
💛 strengthening family relationships
💛 practical support for parents and carers
