Today we had the pleasurenof hosting the Level 3 Primary Tennis Finals Oakham Tennis Club

There were some amazing performances from our future tennis stars throughout the event.

Well done to all players who took part today and also to all the staff and volunteers who supported the event and helped with scoring etc

Netball League Finals

Tonight saw the culmination of the Netball league with the finals taking place at Uppingham Community College

4 teams contested the finals

English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy
St Mary & St John CEVA Primary School, North Luffenham, Rutland
Leighfield Primary School

This followed the previous 3wks of central venue matches hosted by schools before half term.

Today we hosted our Girls and Mixed Cricket competitions.

Uppingham Town Cricket Club kindly hosted the event and provided the wickets for us to play, and at times, provided us some much needed shelter from the elements!!!

We managed though to get all matches played in both competitions and ended with an extremely intense and competitive final in the Mixed competition.

School Games - Tackling Inequalities

Today is the start of our 3 day Your School Games project where we were focusing on tackling Inequalities and providing additional opportunities to those groups of children in schools who may benefit the most.

Working in partnership with Rumble Live Action Gaming and Fenland Adventure - schools are participating in a 2hr session where they have to overcome challenges, work together in groups and have exciting new experiences.

9 schools took up the offer and will bring between 15-30 children to the sessions
