St Joseph's Pre-school We are a growing pre-school situated in Nympsfield. We are a growing Pre-school situated in Nympsfield.

We employ highly qualified staff and are open Monday-Friday 9am-3pm (Term Time Only). We welcome children from the age of 2 and can accept both the 2 year old and 3 year old vouchers. We have a warm, bright room with a large range of floor toys, role play corner, creative station as well as focused fun and creative activities, story area, music and computer sessions. There is also a large secure f

ree-flow outside play area where the children can also enjoy themed activities alongside ride-on toys, sandpit and water play. The children enjoy a wide variety of healthy snacks provided by the parents. Pre-school is also able to use the school hall for inside activities. The children attend school assemblies and have the opportunity to visit reception class, and take part in joint activities from time to time. During the summer term, children visit the reception class and meet their new teacher. Could you help shape the future of our Pre-school?

Our AGM is taking place on Monday 28 September 2026 via Zoom, and we're looking for some new Committee members to join our friendly team.


As a charity-run Pre-school, we're legally required to have a volunteer Committee. Quite simply, without enough Committee members, the Pre-school cannot continue to operate.


Every parent or carer with a child attending the Pre-school is automatically a Family Member and is eligible to stand for election. We also welcome Extra Members, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, former parents and anyone in the community who would like to support our wonderful setting.


Please don't worry if you've never been on a committee before. Our experienced Lead Practitioner, Natalie (12 years in post) and Treasury Administrator, Kirsty (8 years in post), provide support and guidance, and you'll be joining a friendly team who all want the very best for our children.

You don't need any special skills—just an interest in helping our Pre-school continue to thrive.
