🏐💙 Tonight, our U15 Netball Team played their final match against Higham before heading off to the World School Games next week! 🌍✨

It was an incredibly close game, with both teams going goal for goal at one stage. 💪🔥 A tough and competitive match, but the girls showed great determination and teamwork to come away with a fantastic 18-13 victory! 🎉👏

🏏 Today was the Year 7 & Year 8 Rounders Tournament! 🏏

With 6 teams across Hinckley taking part, our Year 7 and Year 8 teams were placed in separate groups. Both teams topped their groups comfortably! 💪👏

This set up an all school final between our own Year 7s and Year 8s! 🤩

Wow, what a final it was! 😮 It went right down to the very last ball, with both teams finishing on an incredible 7 rounders each! 🏏🔥

The result then came down to the number of players out. Year 8 had managed to get more players out, meaning they were crowned 🏆 Hinckley & Bosworth Champions 🏆, with the Year 7 team finishing as fantastic runners-up! 🥈

An amazing afternoon of rounders, teamwork and determination from all the girls. We are so proud of you all! 👏💙💛

🏃‍♀️🏅 Today, two of our talented Year 8 girls were selected to represent Hinckley & Bosworth at the County Athletics Championships held at Loughborough University! 🎉

Despite the awful weather 🌧️☔, both girls did amazing!

💪 First up was Johnette A/O in the Shot Put. She put in a fantastic performance and narrowly missed out on first place, finishing with an amazing 🥈 2nd place!

⚡ Next was Sorom E in the 200m. After finishing 🥉 3rd in her heat, she qualified for the final against some very strong competition. She then went on to achieve a brilliant 6th place finish in the county! 👏🏃‍♀️

🏏Tuesdays cricket club is starting to grow… today we got lucky with the weather 🫶🏻
Unfortunately yesterdays Y7/8 tournament was postponed due to the weather, but we’re looking forward to the Y9/10 tournament on the 22nd June ☀️

🏐 Today our Year 7 & 8 netball teams were invited by Hannah Joseph from Loughborough Lightning to attend a fantastic workshop in Uppingham! ✨

The girls had an amazing day, learning lots of new skills, developing their techniques, and making great improvements throughout the sessions 💪👏

They also had the opportunity to ask Hannah lots of questions over lunch, and she commented on how talented our young players are, with the potential for a very bright future in netball 🌟🏅

A brilliant experience and a great day out for all the girls! 💜🏐

🏐 Tonight our U15 netball team played a friendly against Higham in preparation for the World School Games at the end of June! 💪

A great match with lots learnt along the way, finishing with a fantastic 26-14 win! 🎉👏

Today marked the day of the annual Y11 football match. A 4-0 win takes the series to 2 wins each.
The Y11s played a great match in beautiful conditions to round off a tough term of exams. 👏🏻

🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♀️Area Athletics 2026! We took 45 students to the Pingles Stadium today to compete against 9 other schools.

Y7 5th
Y8/9 3rd
Y10/11 6th
Well done to all who competed and we have a few students who have qualified for County Champs in June 👏🏻

🏐 Tonight our Year 9/10 Netball Team played Charnwood College in a friendly fixture! 💪✨

A fantastic match played in great spirit, with lots learnt as we continue preparing for the World School Games in June 🌍🏆

The girls came away with an amazing 23-5 win! 🎉👏

The A team gave it their all and finished as runners-up after a close 8-5 final 👏🥈

The B team finished an amazing 5th place 🥳

Some brilliant matches were played throughout the day and the girls should be so proud of themselves! 🌟
