As part of British Science week, the children in key stage 1 had a special assembly taken by the inspirational Mrs Adams, who is a principal engineer for Network Rail. Mrs Adams talked to the children about being a female engineer as well as about the history of the railway and what she does in her role. Following on from this, children in year 2 had a special workshop where they learned how to programme an Ozobot! The children were able to draw tracks which included a short sequence of two to four colours that the Ozobots could read and respond to, such as speeding up, slowing down, changing direction, or making cool moves! Fun was had by all and hopefully the next generation of engineers have been truly inspired!

πŸ“šβœ¨ Milby Primary School kicked off World Book Week with a special visitorβ€”Paige Turner! But she brought an urgent warning: Noah Imagination was trying to steal all the books, making the world grey and dull. 😱

Luckily, the amazing children of Milby Primary were chosen to save the day! Through fun activities and creativity, they proved that books are essential for a colorful, vibrant world. πŸŒˆπŸ“– Their imaginations shone brightly, showing Noah Imagination just how important stories are.

A huge well done to our young book lovers for reminding us all of the magic that books bring! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘
