Yesterday afternoon saw a fun packed Muddy Rangers session!A wide game, a bit of knotting, lots of exploring, toasted marshmallows to make s’mores and hot chocolate! We also managed to squeeze in tree climbing, zip wire and den building! Another successful HAF delivered by Karen of Four Winds Forest School at NNWEC, where children completed a variety of Christmas crafts, food activities, yard duties and pony rides.
HAF sessions are Government funded and provide both activities and a meal for the children that attend. Unfortunately, Government funding has not yet been confirmed. We hope an announcement is made very soon to allow this vital service to continue.

Friday Fika (Fee-kuh).

Just like Forest School, Fika is an important part of Swedish culture. It's a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and many Swedes consider it an essential part of every day.

Our Fika with a twist takes place on a Friday evening. It's a time to get together with friends and loved ones in the wonderful outdoors enjoying the inviting warmth and welcome of a camp fire 🔥
